COVID-19 Update & Resources

These are unprecedented times, and the health and safety of our customers, experts, partners, and employees is always our top priority. Given the uncertainty surrounding the impact of COVID-19, we are taking extended measures in light of recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Touring homes, virtual when possible:

If you are a buyer who desires to tour a home, please let us know. You can do so here.

Tours may be scheduled by appointment.

We will check if the seller's agent offers a live virtual tour or provides 3D tours via link or video. Thereafter, if an in-person tour is desired we will work with the seller's agent to schedule a time that could work for all parties and take precautions to keep you and those involved safe.

We will ask all parties involved the following questions: 

  • Have you or anyone in your household traveled within the past 2 weeks?  If so, where have you traveled?

  • Is anyone in your household quarantined or been asked to self-quarantine? 

  • Do you have any reason to believe you or anyone in your household has had exposure but not to the point of requiring quarantine? 

  • Do you or anyone in your family exhibit any of these symptoms:  Fever, cough, shortness of breath, or otherwise flu like symptoms?


Required precautions based on best practices and CDC guidelines:

  • Follow “one party in; one party out” rule and only allow one party in the house at a time.

  • Refrain from handshakes or any physical contact.

  • Wash or sanitize hands prior to, and after, entering the home.

  • Do not visit a home if you are sick, or exposed to someone who may have COVID-19.

  • Understand and adhere to remaining CDC guidelines

We know the current process of touring a home has changed, but we remain in a position to meet your home buying needs.   • Home inspectors are going into homes alone and reporting findings to the buyer afterwards.

  • Appraisers are conducting desktop or drive-by appraisals for the bank.

  • Law offices meet outside for wet signatures and notarizations while keeping 6 ft. apart. 

  • Banks work through emails, phone calls, and wire transfers to underwrite clients as they did before.
